A galaxy is pretty big, isn’t it? Enough space for everyone, you’d reckon. But that doesn’t stop a number of civilisations trying to take complete control of it. One of those eight civilisations is controlled by you. In Endless Space, your mission is to rise to the top of the galactic food chain by any means necessary, in order to obtain the secrets of a race once called the Endless.

What remains of the Endless - they were the first intelligent lifeforms in the known galaxy, kicking around long before anyone else even existed - amounts to a special substance called Dust. Dust offers power to those who have it, but unless the secrets are truly uncovered its potential is exceptionally limited.

You must have that power for yourself. But how will you go about this mission? Will you control the galaxy through subtle trade and strong examples of diplomacy, or will you go out exploring every corner of the galaxy in the quest for discovery? Will you beat your opponents into submission using battle tactics, or give yourself a strong enough defence that no other race can touch you?

Ship creation and customisation allows you to craft your ultimate fleet, while turn-based gameplay allows for alliance-based strategies to work in your favour or turn exceptionally sour. Up to eight players can engage in an epic battle for control, and even when you’re finished with the game the excitement isn’t over.

With the GAMES2GETHER initiative, players can actually add to the game and track the development team’s progress and objectives. more
