Summary
It’s extreme sports time with Motionsports: Adrenaline from Ubisoft. It’s a game aimed beyond the single-player experience and at friends and family. Set in a variety of exotic locations including the Himalayas and the Amazon River, the game comprises a set of challenges covering eight extreme and dangerous sports.
Motionsports: Adrenaline requires the use of Xbox Kinect.
The sports that must be mastered over the eight available locations are: Wingsuit, Mountainbike, Rock climbing, Kayak, Kitesurf, Parkour, Extreme Ski and Extreme Trampolining. All of this action is played out to a fully licensed and rocking soundtrack.
With several modes to be played through including single-player it is in Party Mode that the game comes into its own. With up to four players involved in the main sports and challenges, Party Mode can be played co-operatively or in competition. Gamers can also find and use collectable items throughout the game that will affect their opponents: these include the use water bombs to slow and disorient them.
This competition and collaboration can also extend beyond the games room and into the wider world via the Internet (an Internet connection is required).
This also enables the gamer to see recorded performances from connected friends.
