Summary

Sam Fisher has returned, and he's done it in a dimension he didn't have before – the third one! Muscling into the 3DS's launch line-up, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D brings all the stealthy action you could want to the smallest of screens in three eye-popping dimensions!

Splinter Cell 3D is an enhanced version of 2005's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The plot follows Sam Fisher's mission behind enemy lines on the Korean Peninsula to stop events that seem to be building towards World War III in their tracks. He'll need to investigate the group responsible for sinking the USS Clanrence E. Walsh, the U.S.'s most advanced cruiser. You can imagine that won't be easy...

As you'd expect, the game packs the same punch as the original, but with more than a smattering of new features. The most obvious is stereoscopic 3D, which you'll find in everything from gameplay to maps and menus right through to the loading screens.

You'll also find some handy new gadgets and weapons at your disposal, including new fusion goggles, OCP electronic disabling device, wall mine, more add-ons to the SC-20K rifle, smoke and gas grenades.

Lock-picking has also been tweaked, with the 3DS's slide pad offering better control than ever.
