Summary
A Winter 2009 entry in Ubisoft's Petz range of games, My Kitten Family for Nintendo DS follows in the very appealing paw prints of My Puppy Family. The game enables you to raise and care for a whole family of cats, and if - like us - you never had a real cat for one reason or another, it's a fun alternative.
In this DS-only game, you can select a kitten from a variety of breeds and watch it grow and develop a unique personality. As you care for your pet, you'll form a bond with him and develop a lasting relationship. You can bring up your 'baby' in your own manner and style and see how it affects your kitten's relationships with other animals, as you are not limited to just one pet with My Kitten Family, oh no. You can have up to three pets on screen at the same time and observe how well - or otherwise - they get on as they play together.
There is also the option to experiment with breeding, as you can bring different breeds together and create a unique pet. From Russian Blue to Persian, there's something for everyone. Rewards are available as you play through the game, wherein you can unlock costumes, toys and accessories. New environments can also be unlocked as you progress.
