Ubisoft has brought the classic Japanese arcade shoot 'em up to Europe so you can blow things up in giant robot style.
Wartech Senko no Ronde blasts players into the far future where mankind has spread its wings and colonised the stars. Earth has become little more than a natural resource to be mined for all it's worth, and a violent war for world domination has broken out. Now the skies are dominated by Rounder Mech Suits duking it out for supremacy, and it's time for you to join the fray.
There are eight playable suits, each with two distinct variations and an unlockable in-game B.O.S.S. Mode, making 24 different configurations to play with in total. Don't think that it all adds up to the same thing, though. With the various methods of attack available to you, the game requires you to deploy close, mid-range and long-distance attacks. Different characters and suits specialise in one or two of these, so you'll need to play to your strengths.
It wouldn't be an Xbox 360 game without online play, of course, and Wartech Senko no Ronde is no exception. You'll be able to go up against the best Xbox Live has to offer to improve your ranking.
