Summary

In Field Commander for the PSP, gamers must survive in a war ravaged country filled with chaos. A once powerful country is split into 13 starving states, each fighting for survival. It is up to you to save the country's destiny - its fate is in your hands. You have been recruited by the Advanced Tactical Legion for Allied Security (ATLAS) to protect the world against covert organisations whose main goals include terrorism, inciting wars, and black market trading. As a Field Commander, you will take charge of a division of highly trained soldiers recruited from around the world to complete your objectives. To help you in your task, ATLAS has seen fit to equip you with a complement of vehicles and weapons that combine the military might and technology of over 50 Allied Nations.

Field Commander is the first military turn-based strategy game for the PSP. The game offers challenging skill-based warfare in a realistic military setting. You play as a Field Commander working for an independent organisation established by the Allied Nations to defend the world against an evil terrorist organisation bent on illicit arms deals and global domination. You have full command over the land, skies and sea. It is up to you to plan an offensive attack through 30 unique missions, each one set in beautiful 3D environments with detailed terrain and dynamic visual effects. With an arsenal of 15 army divisions and 11 commanding officers at your disposal, the power is truly yours to outwit the enemy at every turn.

The game offers extended multiplayer gameplay; defeat your enemy from across the globe, across the room or sitting next to you through four multiplayer options, including hot swap, local network, internet and Transmission (play by email) modes.
