Summary

What an exciting place L.A. is. All they do there all day long is race around in customised cars, while attractive women sit in the back firing automatic weapons. The objective is clear: to prove that they are the ‘O.G.’ of that particular piece of turf. If you don’t live in L.A., you can only imagine what it must be like to live this reckless but exciting life. Perhaps you are thinking of moving there, to stake your claim to the tarmac. Perhaps you just wish you were brave enough to. Either way, you can now sample your own slice of authentic L.A. life with this detailed simulator from Ubisoft.

Young Buck is not an O.G. Heck, he’s not even a Mack yet. But one thing’s for sure. He’s going to step into his blinging ride, push the pedal to the metal and prove himself. He’s going to do it, if only for the Gs that got his back, if only for his O.G. daddy Dupree. You see, Dupree just copped nine slugs. He’s O.K., but boy is he mad. He’s mad because the slugs came from the tech of Cortez, an O.G. from the East side who thinks this is his turf too. That’s right, that crazy, gun blazin’ street racer thinks he can become the O.G. of the South Central street racing circuit. You, Buck, are going to honour the protection Dupree has given you all your life, and show this wannabee who the real O.G. is. You’re going to do it with the help of Queen B, who, like all the other characters in the game, is a sexy, independent woman who knows what she wants. And how to drive really fast shooting guns all the time. You can choose from a whole range of fat whips – sports cars, pick-ups, muscles cars and SUVs. There’s also tons of biscuits to arm yourself with, whether they be tech nines, mach tens, shotties or bazookas.

If you like the idea of being the O.G., racing in your ride, with hot, gun-toting women by your side, then 187: Ride or Die is for you, my G.
