Summary

Dogged by a series of delays, even more so than its console counterparts, Kemco's falling-block puzzler Eggo Mania for Game Boy Advance has finally arrived.

Complete with falling blocks, rising water, a time limit, competition mode, and of course, Eggos, Eggo Mania has everything you need for an excellent puzzler and then some. There are eight Eggos available to begin with, which are used to catch blocks, rotate them, and use them to build towers on little islands. Your aim is to help them escape the rising water and be the first to reach the hot air balloon that hovers in the sky. To complicate matters further, tower-tumbling and thieving enemies prowl the depths of the rising ocean, looking for ways to drown your spirit. It's a race, and you must work quickly.

Eggo Mania gives players the option to go head-to-head with the computer in single player mode or compete with friends via a link lead. The seven available game modes include a solo high score test, a multi-player tournament, a race against the clock and a weapons-only battle in bomb mode.

Best suited to the GBA hardware, especially in terms of appeal, the only mobile version of Eggo Mania boasts some nice graphical touches that deliver that extra piece of eye-candy for the graphically motivated among you.

Remember, if you stop to think, your tower will sink! Get it?
