Summary

Donald Duck is back in Quack Attack for the Dreamcast. His beloved girlfriend Daisy is a reporter; investigating the dangerous mountain-lair of the evil wizard Morlock when suddenly disaster strikes. During the live broadcast, Daisy is kidnapped and it is up to you, as Donald, to risk everything and save her. As if you would even give it a second thought. You must be quick because you have competition to contend with, Gladstone has plans to save Daisy as well and Daisy will be pleased to see whoever gets there first.

Quack Attack is a beautiful looking platformer that is aimed at the younger section of the games-playing audience. The gameplay involves overcoming all obstacles in the level while finding the vital piece of the boss medal. When you have all four pieces of this medal, the boss is unlocked and it’s time for the big fight. If you have played Crash Bandicoot or a Mario game you will be at home with what’s on offer here.

Scattered throughout each level are three of your nephews’ toys. If you manage to find all twelve toys in four consecutive levels your relations will be delighted, and reward you. Acquiring these toys is not straightforward unfortunately, you must hit the magic book located nearby and make it to the toy before it disappears. If you aren’t quick enough, you can try again, but it’s just as tricky as last time. When you complete a set of levels Gladstone then sets you a time challenge. If you successfully beat his times…Gladstone will surprise you with a present.

Donald Duck Quack Attack is a genuinely amusing game. There are tons of comedy animations that will make you smile, Donald has several moods and when he gets angry, watch out. Quack Attack is a fun game that has plenty of re-playability and lasting appeal.
