Born: Apr 1971

Stuart Whyte started work in the industry as a journalist writing an adventure games column for Future Publishing’s Amstrad Action, followed by a move to Microprose. He then became producer on a number of games including the first four in the X-Com series. Following this he moved to a startup.com games company (now defunct) before moving to EA/Bullfrog and producing Populous: The Beginning and Theme Park Inc/SimCoaster. Later, once Bullfrog had become Electronic Arts UK, he worked on they first three games in the Harry Potter series. Following seven years at Bullfrog/EA he made the decision to join Lionhead Studios as Executive Producer on "The Movies" franchise. During development he was promoted to Head of Production of Lionhead.

Stuart Whyte's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1993 title, "Impossible Mission 2025: The Special Edition" (Amiga AGA) as Project Leader/Producer. Of the titles listing Stuart within the credits , "Fable: The Lost Chapters" (Xbox), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban " (GBA), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (PC), "Black and White 2" (PC) and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (GameCube) have been best selling titles.

Stuart's most recent involvement was as Production Management on the 2005 release "The Movies" (Xbox).
