After leaving school in 1995, attended Newcastle College studying Advertising and Illustration. During his time there, Walker gained a National diploma in Graphic design and then went on to obtain a Higher National diploma in 1998-2000.
Started work at Reflections as a Junior Artist working on the highly acclaimed Driv3r, and gradually gained experience in photoshop and 3d studio max. His main position was as a city artist and he was given a specific region in the game to build. Specific regions required building, including landmarks, terrain, trees and clutter objects. Also used the ‘ in house’ editor which enabled Walker to put everything that was built into the world map. After this was finally polished to a high standard, was assigned to bug fix problems throughout the city.
Guy Walker's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2003 title, "Driv3r" (PS2) as Level/Map Design. Of the titles listing Guy within the credits , "Driv3r" (PS2) and "Driv3r" (Xbox) have been best selling titles.
Guy's most recent involvement was as Level/Map Design on the 2005 release "Driv3r" (PC).
