Summary

If you've ever seen an episode of Rick and Morty you'll probably have an inkling that Virtual Rick-ality is not for the faint of heart. Basically, it has you enter the world of the show and have a good old poke around, make some stuff, break some stuff and, if you're feeling helpful, go on some adventures with Rick.

You play as one of a potentially infinite supply of Clone Mortys, meaning that you get to be on the receiving end of some of Rick's less well considered decisions while still getting to interact with the lad himself. While you get your bearings in Rick's workshop you'll complete more mundane tasks like helping with the laundry and fixing his spaceship, but as you go developer Owlship gently cranks up the complexity as you get to grips with VR hallmarks involving the likes of solving puzzles, exploring and doing some old fashioned first-person shooting.

Where the game really shines, however, is in giving you a deep dive into the world of our titular heroes. Every nook and cranny of the game world is crammed full of references to the show's vast lore and Rick and Morty fans are in for a huge treat. There's nothing quite like being forced to examine your own self worth after an interaction with Rick himself.
