Summary
New Orleans, 1968. The South is in turmoil, rocked by the American Civil Rights Movement and an unpopular war in Vietnam. And New Orleans is dirty as hell. You play as Lincoln Clay, a disenfranchised Vietnam vet returning from the theatre of war and looking for a place to call home. Orphaned as a child, he finally finds the family he never had, only to see it wrenched away and slaughtered by the Italian mob. Lincoln sets his mind on revenge against the most powerful crime operation in the city and goes to war, unsettling the balance of power in the bayou and taking a piece of it for himself in the process.
Mafia III, like its predecessors, is an open world game. Players must choose their own path to revenge. Will you use cunning, stalking and deception to get your retribution and build your empire, or opt for all-out force?
