F1 2015 comes packed with all the drivers and cars of the 2014 season, but a day one update means that all this year's drivers and cars are also available right off the bat. The most important elements of this season's cars, like the McLarens in their new livery and the presence of the Manor Marussias are all ready to go. Any bits and pieces that are missing will come in the form of updates across the season.
The move to current generation consoles has given Codemasters the chance to rework the physics and tyre models. For a game that prides itself on realism and reflecting the action on the track as closely as possible that's going to pay dividends. Codemasters is boasting a whole new game engine serving up enhancements in 20 areas.
The game's presentation has also had an overhaul, with TV-like presentation giving the most authentic F1 living room experience yet.
A couple of new modes will sharpen players' skills. The new pro season is the toughest challenge going, offering brutal realism. For those who prefer to play online there are new options too, with the Online Practice Session.
