Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused? - 3DS/2DS

The world has changed a lot since Dr Kawashima first helped the Nintendo DS break out to a mainstream audience and as 21st century living has got more complicated the good doctor's goal has become more simple - he wants to help people to train their brains in the name of becoming more focused.

One byproduct of this seemingly innocent goal is that Dr Kawashima has taken on a devilish look, while his exercises have also become somewhat devilish in the challenge they offer.

The emphasis is on working memory, an important aspect of brain function that revolves around the temporary storage of information for manipulation. By playing the game for a few minutes every day over the course of several weeks, players will hopefully start to notice improvements in their concentration.

Devilish Brain Training serves up 30 exercises and minigames, many of which will adapt to create bespoke training tailored to your level. There are exercises such as Devilish Calculations, which requires you to recall the answer to a previous maths problem while focusing on the next in line, or Devilish Mice, in which you simultaneously track the paths of several mice while they get chased!
