Summary

BlazBlue is back with a brand new revision to the popular Continuum Shift arcade original. But don’t think for a second that this means Extend is a simple update - this console release brings with it a whole new set of story scenarios, gameplay modes and balancing tweaks to make this the most definitive iteration of the anime brawler yet!

In Continuum Shift Extend, you can fight your way through an updated version of Calamity Trigger’s Story Mode, or tackle some all-new story scenarios for Platinum, Makoto, Valkenhayn and devious new character Relius Clover, a genius alchemist who packs a rather majestic punch.

A new Unlimited Mars mode challenges the best of players to survive against hordes of the strongest foes you’ve ever faced. Abyss mode throws in a little dungeoneering with your combat, and the improved Challenge mode will offer an almost limitless stream of objective-based fighting.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend also features a reworked online multiplayer mode, and also offers online team battles and other nifty new online features. The new balance tweaks will ensure that the game is always a joy to play and never cheap - while an improved presentation includes a new opening animation produced by Production I.G.
