Summary

Bad news, folks! After an impressive six games it's Professor Layton's final investigation. The good news, of course, is that he isn't going out without a bang. Expect more twists and turns than ever as we learn about the Professor's past and future.

There's a whole new world to explore, as the Professor and his assistants, Luke and Emmy, head by airship to the frozen landscape of Froenborg to attempt to uncover the secret of the mysterious and ancient Azran civilisation.

The trio arrives after receiving a letter from a famous archeologist telling them he has discovered a 'living mummy' - a young girl trapped for long cold years in the ice but perfectly preserved and alive! She's the missing, living link to the Azran legacy but, just as the group revives her, she's kidnapped by the Tangent organisation! It's up to the Professor to rescue her and unravel the Azran mystery that has haunted him since his youth.

The game packs in loads of content, with over 500 riddles, interactive puzzles and brain teasers to solve. 150 of them come packed onto the cart, with the rest all getting released as daily puzzles available for download over the year after release.

New to the game are the Dress-Up and Treasure Hunt modes. In Dress-Up, players can mix and match items to style some of the weird characters they meet on their travels. With Treasure Hunt, players can collect over 100 in-game objects to hide in other players' games via StreetPass!

This is the big one. Don't let the Professor down!
