Summary

Are you ready to go to hell? Army Corps of Hell sounds like some kind of inspired name for a historical war shooter, but one look at the game and you’ll realise this is not the case. It’s colourful, wacky, full of dark humour and utterly demonic.

You control an army of evil goblin minions - each with different classes and abilities - to tackle waves of similarly nasty-looking enemies in order to reclaim the King of Hell’s throne. He’s been kicked out of his home, you see, and stripped of his powers. After this hellish coup left the King charred to bits, he summoned the last of his energy to control a bunch of goblins.

As you play through the game, you’ll notice that the features of the PlayStation Vita have been used to good effect. You can give your army the edge by using the rear touchpad to interact with them. They’ll play various instruments which can activate special properties and help change the state of play in your favour.

Defeating monsters will result in dropped items being littered around the game world, which can then be picked up and combined to create new equipment for your troops. Customise your goblins’ appearance, earn rewards for skilful and tactical play, and team up with up to four players in ad-hoc multiplayer to net yourself rarities and ultimate victory.
