Controlled solely by the player's physical gestures, Rapala for Kinect is a less than serious take on the sport, putting the emphasis on fun instead of standing in a river for hours and potentially catching nothing – at least here you're guaranteed to walk away with more than a cold!

It's not all just about fishing though: there's also boat racing. As you race to get to the next fishing spot, you'll have to contend with jumps and bumps to make sure you're the one who'll get the prize catch of the day.

With up to four players attempting to become the greatest anglers of all time (as well as trying to put everyone else off...) Rapala for Kinect may well be the best fishing-related party game out there. Admittedly it could the only one, but with lures that talk back to you, the ability to plaster your face on giant fish and proclaim yourself champion angler, what more do you want? more
