Summary

What's better than being able to play as Kirby? Why, playing as ten Kirbies of course! In the latest Kirby game for the Nintendo DS, players get to control up to ten of everyone's favourite pink ball of stuff in a brand new puzzle based platormer. After being attacked by Necrodeus, the evil leader of the Skull Gang, Kirby is split into ten copies - all but nine are defeated and he must work to get himself back together as one again.

Using the stylus to control up ten of the Kirbies at a time, tapping the screen on different areas prompts a range of actions. Touching an enemy sends a group of Kirbies in to attack while flicking them means they can be used as projectiles. Beginning each level on their own, players must collect fruit in order to spawn new Kirbies and surmount a wide range of puzzles.

Offering a whole new take on the Kirby series of games, Mass Attack promises to be an interesting experience that will see players needing to keep on their toes through every level. If Kirbies are attacked they'll need to be grabbed back before floating away into the sky forever, but thankfully a range of new abilities should mean that Kirby will be able to pull himself together again.
