Summary

May’s Mysteries: The Secret Of Dragonville for the Nintendo DS is an action adventure outing aimed at the younger player.

The gamer’s task is to guide May, an intelligent and charismatic girl, as she sets out to discover the whereabouts of her lost brother. The game features more than 230 logic puzzles, 25 hidden object games and 13 rhythmic games and hand-drawn hidden object scenes, all of which reveal clues that will help May in her quest.

The Nintendo DS’s two screens are both in play for this point and click adventure, with the top screen being used to display clues as well as May’s interactions. The bottom screen displays the hand-drawn scenes and puzzle elements that must be solved in order to progress.

The plot and adventures take place over more 80 locations, which are unlocked as the player progresses. These are laid out in four separate and mysterious worlds. In all of these new characters appear and must be interacted with as they either aid or try and stop May’s journey.

With eight unique and specially penned music themes to accompany the game, as well as seven minutes of voice-overed, movie quality cutscenes, the publishers promise up to 25 hours of engrossing game-play.
