Summary

Greg Hastings Paintball 2 is, as the name suggests a full on paintball simulator with 10 single and multiplayer game modes each that take place in 62 all-new paintball real-world locations.

The game also comes with three new events to compete in as the player hones their skills and progresses in expertise. These are: Tournament Speedball, Recball, and Tournament Woodsball. All these are played out in a variety of weather and environmental conditions including rain, fog, wind, and mud.

Although the gamer can play as part of a team, there is another stage of achievement: Team Management. In this mode the gamer takes on the role of the general manager of a 10-person team. This management element enables the player to issue commands to their team members; trade the bad for the good, and to use winnings from tournaments increase each teamster’s abilities and stats. They can also purchase better equipment and therefore increase their team’s chances. Equipment includes markers, goggles, uniforms plus special weapons such as pump guns, pistols, paint grenades, and paint rocket launchers to take out paintball tanks.

The game can be played in in challenge mode online with seven game types including to 20 players. It can also be played in local two-player split-screen either against bots or in head-to-head mode.

Also included in this edition is a Trading Card System: where you can compare stats with others. As well as collecting the details of hundreds of real-life professional and amateur players from all around the world.

Once you’ve played all the available environments there is also a map editor to create unique and original play areas.

The game supports the Wii Remote & Nunchuk, Wii Zapper, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro, and GameCube Controller.
