Summary
There's only so much cooking a Mama can do before she starts to get bored. Mamas happen to be good at other activities too, such as arts and crafts. The good thing for us creatively-challenged types is that Mama is offering the chance to get involved with all kinds of different hobbies and home activities. All while keeping her cooking apron on though. We're sure it's fine though.
As for the kinds of things you can do in Cooking Mama World: Hobbies & Fun... where do you want to start? Try your hand at pottery, thread needles, arrange and create jewellery and even woodwork and origami.
Following Mama's careful instructions, players use the Nintendo DS touchscreen to interact with objects. Pour mixture into pans and stir before baking hanging ornaments, carefully form a ceramic pot before slamming it in the furnace and then painting it, and engage in some stitchwork before choosing the right arms and legs for a Mama doll.
More than one hundred of these minigames are available to play, and they all contribute to the completion of a greater task, such as building a bird box, designing a necklace, making a kaleidoscope, patching up cushions and creating patchwork quilts.
