Summary

It's over 9000! Dragon Ball Z is back for some portable smackdowns in Tenkaichi Tag Team on the PlayStation Portable. Featuring all of your favourite Dragon Ball Z characters – with and without shiny gold hair – and complete with authentic scenes from the anime, this third-person beat'em up packs in all of the story arcs from the Saiyan Saga down to the Majin Buu Saga. That makes it one of the most complete Dragon Ball Z fighting games available on a handheld.

Control is simple to get to grips with, but it contains a tonne of depth that makes it difficult to truly master unless you went Super Saiyan yourself. The Square button deals out attacks, while Triangle acts as a ranged Ki attack when you're a distance from your opponent.

Jumping, attacking and blocking your enemy requires forward-thinking and multiple strategies for each character – and with a roster of over 70 featuring mainstays like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Piccolo, you'll have your head in this game for a long time yet.

If the straightforward single match and encounter-based battles in the Dragon Walker Mode wasn't enough for you, there's a four-player multiplayer mode in Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team that allows for 2v2 action over PlayStation Network.
