Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage - PC

H.P. Lovecraft is famous for his chilling scenarios and thrilling horror stories, and with the Darkness Within series you'll see successfully translated the atmosphere conveyed in his literature into gameplay form. Following the events of the first game in the series, The Dark Lineage is an adventure that continues the investigations of police detective Howard Loreid, a man troubled by his own past.

While he tackled the paranormal in the first chapter of this series, Loreid realises that his personal demons have come back to haunt him and are in fact the key to his own survival. Players have to solve puzzles and do all they can to prevent the despairing protagonist from being consumed by darkness.

To do so, Loreid has to journey to places unknown to discover the source of his enemies. Along the way he will come back to face the memories that still torture him, including the dusty, dilapidated town of Arkhamend. Explore Victorian mansions and find out about the secrets of the detective's past. Travel to snow-clad woods where abandoned buildings lie, and lead Loreid to the ultimate discovery in underground buildings and tunnels.
