Summary

Prison Break became a smash hit when it first aired on U.S. TV networks, and if you ask plenty of fans out there, the first two series were among the best in the entire run of shows. So it makes sense to recall those heady days of the Fox River State Penitentiary when making a game based on the award-winning drama.

Unlike most tie-ins, which follow the action scene by scene whilst adding the odd gameplay sequence, Prison Break: The Conspiracy's storyline is exactly the same as the first series of the TV show... only from a different perspective. The man you take control of is a Company agent named Tom Paxton, and he is sent undercover to discover the motive for Michael Schofield's curious arrest.

The game features both action and stealth elements, as Paxton makes his way through different cliques and groups in Fox River and engages with friends and enemies. Climbing skills are required to escape and infiltrate various areas of the prison via air vents and warehouse departments, while many tough guys will try to rough you up a bit and offer opportunities to lay some smack down.

Prison Break: The Conspiracy features all of the writing competence and action-packed sequences of the very first series, so get ready to get behind bars – and behind Michael Schofield's plan.
