Summary

Mana Khemia is a game series related to the Atelier Iris fantasy role playing games, hugely popular in the East and in recent times, making sizeable dents in the United States. Now it is Europe's turn. Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al Revis is a campus sim style role playing game where you can interact with classmates and professors to complete academic quests. Players assume the role of Vayne Aurelius, a novice alchemist who has been invited to attend Al Revis Academy. While at the academy, Aurelius will meet human (and not so human) alchemists, and together you will solve the mysteries of alchemy.

Mana Khemia is largely about the art of the craft: Item Crafting, Avatar Crafting and Team Crafting. Item Crafting enables you to create anything from healing potions to swords. Avatar Crafting lets you personalise your characters by 'crafting' skills and statistics instead of just levelling up through combat. Team Crafting enables you to alchemise items using your team’s recipe.

Professors assign missions and quests at the academy, and if you fail, you'll find that you have to stay after school. Depending on who you work alongside on your assignments, the story will change accordingly.
