Summary

Everyone has to grow up some time - even plucky little orange-suited ninjas with demon foxes known to lurk inside them. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 moves things along, taking place two and a half years after Naruto left Hidden Leaf Village.

He's been off training with Jiraiya to become a better ninja, but he hasn't forgotten a promise he made. Having said that he would find Sasuke, he returns to the village with his sensei. He's not the only one who's changed, however. His friends have also matured and an old enemy has grown in power. The Akatsuki organisation is still at it, and someone needs to stop them from achieving world domination...

The game features three major modes: Master, Hero and Free Battle. Master blends RPG elements with action platforming, taking players through the first 17 episodes of the Naruto Shippuden anime series.

Hero mode takes players through the major events of the original series, from Chunin Exams to the Chasing Sasuke story arcs. They blend cut-scenes with key fights using the tried and tested Naruto fighting engine.

Free Battle mode will be familiar to people who played the previous games. It's fight time! As ever, the mode features 3D characters playing in a 2D style. New characters such as Deidara, Sasori and Chiyo turn up alongside old favourites like Gaara, Kakashi and Sakura. In total, you'll find 52 characters to go at!
