Lola is a 12 year-old girl whose life is far from simple. She lives in a run down neighbourhood, has a couple of snotty younger brothers to look after, always has to wear cheap clothes, and has to deal with her crazy companions at school. As if all this wasn't enough to deal with, there's this girl Virginia. She is a stuck up little rich girl who has beauty, good grades, lots of boyfriends and affluent parents. It's a recipe for an intriguing Nintendo DS game squarely aimed at young girls.
Lola and Virginia's school is preparing for a big theatre production to celebrate the Legend of the Magical Love Pony of Doom. Yep, you read that correctly - the Legend of the Magical Love Pony of Doom. The school has brought in a real live pony for the play, but is it a normal pony? Or is it the aforementioned magical type? If something was to happen to Lola, maybe you can find out. And whaddya know? Something happens to Lola, and so the adventure starts.
The game stays true to the popular TV show, in its quirky style of presentation. And let's face it, who can resist a game that includes the Magical Love Pony of Doom? We can't, and we're old enough to know better!
