Summary
The time is 1566 and the place is Salon de Provence in France. Catherine de Medecis, the mother of King Charles IX is the victim of a strange curse and must pay a visit to her doctor and astrologer, Michel de Nostre-Dame, Better known as Nostradamus. Unfortunately, Nostradamus is too fatigued to come to her assistance, and it is his daughter Madeleine - under a false identity - who offers her services to the Queen Mother.
Between the murderous intrigues of the court of France, which Catherine holds in an iron fist, and the prophecies of Nostradamus, Madeleine must unravel this great mystery and change the course of history.
