Summary

James Bond used to take his Martinis shaken, not stirred. Since Daniel Craig took on the role of the world's greatest secret agent, we're not entirely sure he isn't a little of both. So, with the release of Quantum of Solace, it's time to step into the shoes of a more grizzled Bond.

As well as delving into the action of Quantum of Solace, the game picks up Casino Royale, too. It's the first next-gen Bond game, why not go big?

Euroocom, has taken charge of development on the PS2 version. The Call of Duty 4 game engine has been brought into play - a fine place to start as anyone who played Infinity Ward's shooter will know. There's a key difference, however. The game will dip in and out of the first-person viewpoint. When you're in the thick of it and bullets are whizzing past your ears, you'll be able to dip into first-person mode, but you'll have a third-person point of view at your disposal so you won't have to miss out on Daniel Craig's rugged good looks.

Following the two films, the action swings from stealthy, secret agent-type work to all-out, balls-to-the-wall blockbuster combat. If you've seen anything of the Quantum of Solace film, you know there's plenty of source material for .

Whoever said that being the world's greatest secret agent had to be a dark, self destructive activity? Well, Ian Fleming... but not Activision!
