Summary

You absolutely, positively, definitely can't keep a good ninja down. For proof of that, you need look no further than Naruto. That manga-cum-anime-cum-everything else franchise has done nothing if not make a whole heap of money for a whole lot of games companies over the years. Even Tomy/D3's Clash of Ninja series is up to its fourth English instalment all on its lonesome.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 sticks with the premise that has made the series successful - it allows players to beat the daylights out of their favourite Naruto characters using... well, more of their favourite Naruto characters. There's more than ever to go at this time, too. Along with favourites like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi, developer Eighting has created several new characters especially for the game.

That's not all that's new and special with this title, either. It features an all-new plot that's never been seen in the manga or anime before, set after Sasuke Uchiha betrays the Hidden Leaf Village in search of power.

In addition to the brand spanking new elements, numerous tweaks and refinements have been made to the series' gameplay, such as the altering of the amount of damage combos can do to level the playing field a little.

With hundreds of missions to complete, a Survival mode, Team and free for all slugfests, Team-based supers and four-way multi-player, there's plenty for any Naruto fan to sink their teeth into.
