Summary

Episode three of the Tomb Raider series sees top-heavy temptress Lara on a mission to recover four lost artefacts from the heart of an ancient meteor. Her challenge to prevent them getting into the wrong hands is even greater than ever. She has to travel across the globe, from Area 51 to the rooftops of London. Naturally you wouldn’t expect her to walk the distance, so she can now use quad bikes and kayaks to get to her desired location.

In the fourth jaunt, you get a sneak peek at Lara's history when you must guide her, aged sixteen, around in the foot steps of Werner Von Croy. Back in the present day, Lara's in search of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Making your way through Egypt involves several modes of transport, including a Land Rover, motorbike (with sidecar!) and train, and sees some long awaited moves, such as the swinging on ropes, shimmying up poles, and opening doors with the handle. On the whole, she's a heck of lot more agile. When not swinging from rope to ledge, she can carry blazing torches, combine weapons and objects, such as attaching a laser sight to your gun, and climb around the most unnerving corners.

Anyone who's games collection is lacking these two titles would be well advised to grab a copy, especially considering the price.
