Summary

That plucky little Gaul Asterix is back. This time, he's starring in a game based on the live action film Asterix at the Olympic Games. As is ever the case, he's got his best bud Obelix in tow, along with his ever faithful companion, Dogmatix.

The game follows the trio as they do their best to help the lovelorn Alafolix. Off they trundle to Greece (this is the olden days, so don't expect the Olympics to be held in Beijing) in order to help him win the hand of the lovely Princess Irina. Once there, they have to square up to the might of the Roman Empire.

Unfortunately, Brutus has gone and opened a gateway between the original book, the film and the game. As you can imagine, chaos ensues.

Players will play through a series of minigames as they grapple with the challenges of the Olympics themselves, and can also go head to head with their friends.

We just hope Asterix doesn't put too much of that magic potion in his system. We hear the Olympic authorities look down on that sort of thing...
