Summary

A cursory glance at the title, and you'd never know that this is Pool for the PSP, but Pool it is, and from a development studio with green/blue/purple baize form like Blade Interactive, you can expect a potting good time with The Hustle: Detroit Streets.

You play as Jack Swift, a man making his way around the bars and pool halls of Detroit, trying to gain respect and maybe a little cash along the way. The story behind Jack unfolds as you travel to new venues and face new challenges. With every venue comes new opponents, each with their own strengths and weaknesses that will test every aspect of your game. You begin the game in the downtown pool hall Motor City Pool. As far as respect is concerned, you're the lowest of the low, a total unknown. You'll need to start to play and win if any of the big guns are going to acknowledge you at all, and therein lies the real appeal of this game. You have to earn any respect that's coming to you.

The Hustle: Detroit Streets includes all the shots - basic and tricks - that you can expect from a 2007-released pool sim. You can also intimidate opponents, and intuition is gained as you become a better, cleverer player. Wireless play between two budding potters is also on offer in The Hustle.
