Summary
Hammy Goes Nuts! for the GBA stars the loveable little characters from the animated film by DreamWorks, Over the Hedge. In a totally new adventure, Hammy the squirrel teams up again with Verne the turtle, RJ the raccoon and Stella the skunk. They vanquished Dwayne the Exterminator in their last outing. Now they must embark on a dangerous quest into the 'burbs' to restore the signal of Hammy's beloved cable television, which has broken. At the same time, they must also find a way to restore Hammy's happiness. One thing that you can be sure of is that there are plenty of laughs to be had throughout the journey.
Explore new areas of suburbia including sewers, backyards, construction sites and housing tracts, in more than 30 action-packed levels. Players have the choice to play as nine different characters. To help you through the game, your chosen character can be equipped with golf clubs, boomerangs, and other items. The four forest friends must do battle with a tool-toting handyman, a crazy cat lady and Boris, a nasty beaver who wants to rule the forest.
In Quick Play Mode, players can visit all the unlocked levels in order to gain high scores. There is also a Hot-Seat Multiplayer Mode, where players can choose to play alone or with up to four friends in any of the previously unlocked levels.
