Summary
Battlefield 2: Deluxe Edition features the fully updated original hit game, as well as the Battlefield 2: Special Forces expansion pack. You have all the necessary weaponry to fight in some of the world's most dangerous war zones, including strike jets, tanks and assault carriers. In the Battlefield 2: Special Forces expansion pack, you become an elite soldier or insurgent in intense online battles, while unleashing the latest weapons on land, in the air, and at sea. Gamers have authentic Special Forces firearms and many different advanced gadgets at their disposal. With night-fighting stealth tactics, the covert armies give you even greater weaponry in your fight against some of the most dangerous armed forces in the world.
The Battlefield 2 game engine and physics system makes the battlefield come to life like never before. Team play features allow players to enter the action on the frontlines as part of a formal squad, or work behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their teammates.
In Battlefield 2: Special Forces expansion pack, there are six new forces - Navy Seals, British SAS, Russian Spetznas, MEC Special Forces, Rebel groups and insurgents, each with their own unique arsenal and tactics. There are also 10 new vehicles available, including the Apache Longbow, Combat ATV and Desert Raider. It is also possible for gamers to enjoy online multiplayer action for up to 64 players.
