The first MotoGP game was released in 2001 for the PS2 and was an undoubted success. The animation on the bikes and riders was exquisite, with a massive polygon count producing amongst the most realistic graphics ever seen on home console at the time.

MotoGP for PSP comes from the same people that developed the MotoGP series on PS2 and Ridge Racer on Sony's handheld. Now, it's possible to experience all the thrills (and spills) of MotoGP, where and whenever you want, as this is the first time that the series has appeared on the PSP. Fans can now race against their biking heroes, including Spanish star Sete Gibernau and Italian legend Valentino Rossi, on some of the most thrilling circuits in motorsport.

There is an extensive range of game modes for players to get their teeth into. Race against the best in the world for the Championship in Season Mode, or test your skills against other professionals in One-on-One Mode. In both of the aforementioned modes, players will experience fast-paced, arcade-style racing that should excite MotoGP fans and anyone else who longs for high-speed action.

There is also the option for players to take on friends in exciting Wireless multiplayer races for up to eight players via Ad Hoc Mode. So, what are you waiting for? Get ready for an amazing racing experience with death-defying cornering and life-threatening overtaking…while you're on the bus/train/boat!
