Governors of Roman provinces spared no resources to found cities of magnificence, in the hope of leaving their mark on history. Gamers can now enter this time of splendour, using their creativity to build cities which would put even the great Rome to shame.

The graphics in Glory of the Roman Empire are lovingly rendered and extremely detailed. There is a revolutionary flower interface and tutorial that will provide easy access to the game. It is also possible to cultivate Rome or other ancient cities like Florence from small settlements to world forces. As a governor, players can guide generation after generation, from infants to slaves to old-timers in the daily life of ancient Rome. Gamers can also train their armies to protect their cities against savage barbarians.

Glory of the Roman Empire has 30 different missions in 11 historical towns for gamers to get stuck into. There is also a Campaign Mode with varied trade, social and military goals. If you want to see how you match up against other players from around the world, it is possible to upload your high scores onto the Internet with the Challenge Mode. To experience the height of the Latin language era, there is a Latin version of the game.
