Mashed: Fully Loaded - Xbox

The first Mashed game was distinguished by its simple and addictive gameplay. Essentially it was based on the stay-on-the-screen racing of the Micro Machines series, with an ingenious twist: the camera was placed behind the cars, imitating the chase view of more conventional racers, instead of tracking the action from above. The simple and affordable title is back this week in the form of Mashed: Fully Loaded, on PS2 and Xbox in the form a special edition with added features.

The single player game features 60 single player challenges, six new Training modes and three new tournaments. You can drive any one of 15 uniquely handling vehicles through industrial ruins, icy mountains and busy highways using weapons such as mines, rockets and shotguns to destroy your opponents as you go, or if you’re sat out of the game, even call out an airstrike on them!

But Mashed is really all about multiplayer action, and up to four players can race on the same screen, across 30 track variations. So get some pals around, and get a different kind of mashed! more
