Summary

Hit Nickelodeon animation Fairly Odd Parents follows the adventures of young Timmy Turner. Like all 10 year-olds, Timmy has to worry about his what his loopy folks or psycho babysitter are going to try next. But unlike most 10 year-olds Timmy has his very own Fairy Godparents, Cosmo and Wanda. Timmy is the latest assignment of these wacky, brainless, but undoubtedly magical guardian angels, and along with his friends, the mischievous Chester and egghead A.J., gets into some scrapes, though usually manages to foil his arch nemesis, the mean teen Vicky. Whenever he’s in a real pickle, or even just bored, he can summon the Fairly Odd Parents to fulfil his wildest wishes.

THQ have already published one game by Blitz inspired by the series, Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin’ Da Rules. Now the crazy, magical world of the series is coming once more to your GBA. Timmy’s home town of Dimmsdale has been afflicted by a terrible problem – there’s no T.V. reception. And it couldn’t have come at a worse time: the kids of the town are eagerly awaiting the final episode of their favourite show, Crash Nebula. Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda take it upon themselves to get to the bottom of the problem, only to discover that it’s the least of their worries. There’s a plot afoot to take over the world and behind it all is a mysterious figure known only as The Shadow.

Featuring voice talent and the same quirky humour as the T.V. show, the game features six all-new levels based on actual episodes in the series: Fairly Disastrous, Dad’s Dream, Take it on the Chin, Get a Clue, Vicky Strikes Back and The Great Esc-Ape. On his way, Timmy will get to used all manner of wish-derived inventions: 18 to be exact, including the Suit Spray, Repair-o-Tron, Super Irritating Klaxon, Pogo Stick of Justice and Super Cleft Freeze Ray. As well as that, the game also features exclusive bonuses in the form of clips from the series and a making of the video game sneak peak. A real treat for fans of this humorous cartoon.
