Summary

On 6 June, 1944, the air above the French coast of Normandy was set ablaze as the Allies landed in Nazi-occupied France to put an end to Hitler’s regime. Almost 6,700 ships and over 13,000 aeroplanes were involved in the D-Day campaign. Multiple airborne units (the Red Devils and the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions) who, due to navigation errors, were scattered over the entire Cotentin Peninsula set out in the early hours of D-Day morning. The improvisation talents of the officers enabled small groups to be formed, each of which covered several locations.

Combat Elite puts you in the role of one of the 17,000 US and British paratroopers who were dropped behind enemy lines shortly before the main offensive. The initial skirmishes with the enemy are soon followed by more and more dangerous deployments as you take part in Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands and are finally deployed in Germany itself.
