Summary

Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator is probably the most extensive combat-based flight simulator you'll come across, thanks to a remarkable game engine, but more importantly a plethora of hardcore add-ons. And now, Empire has a released a collection of some of the finest expansions from Just Flight together with the original Combat Flight Simulator itself.

Combat Flight Simulator
No other company has harnessed the power of the PC better than Microsoft, and this is shown in Combat Flight Simulator. The level of realism present in flight physics is truly amazing. There are a number of World War 2 planes to fly, including the Supermarine Spitfire Mark 1, and each and every craft has its own unique handling attributes, which must be mastered to get the most out of your flight experience.

There are differing modes of gameplay to participate in, depending on your fondness of simulators. If you want to go deep, then you can choose a campaign mode. If you're into a little free flight however, you can go into free flying mode, whereby you can admire the surrounding scenery without the added pressure and threat of enemy bogies. In a nutshell, Combat Flight Simulator should appeal to anyone who is keen on the art of flying or a bit of an aerial dust-up.

Luftwaffe Collection
The most significant aircraft from Germany's military history have been recreated in perfect detail for Combat Flight Simulator. Probably one of the finest military collections ever assembled!

The Luftwaffe Collection provides a comprehensive selection of the Luftwaffe's finest from 1918 onwards. The Zeppelin to the EF2000, fighters and bombers from two world wars, and Cold War strategic aircraft. There's even a Mig 29 in Unified German colours plus some interesting historical aircraft such as the twin rotor Flettner helicopter!

Royal Air Force 2000
RAF 2000 spans the RAF from pre-WW2 Hawker Biplanes to the future with the Eurofighter EF2000!

There are 25 incredible RAF aircraft in total, consisting of 21 unique types and another four sub-variants. Each aircraft has been accurately designed and painstakingly constructed using the latest technology such as semi-transparent cockpit windows. All have rotating propellers and many aircraft have fully animated flight control surfaces. Some even have the pilots' heads turning as you roll left and right!
