Summary

One of a number of games based on the Disney film Lilo and Stitch, Experiment 626 is to be released across Europe so as to coincide with the box office openings throughout Summer 2002. This game, however, is actually a prequel to the movie, as it tells the story of alien character Stitch's life between his creation on a military space ship and his eventual escape to earth - where the plot of the film begins.

The story begins with our hero held captive in the laboratory of his creator, Jumba, on board a military space ship. He soon escapes and, following a battle with the very guy that created him, embarks on a quest to make it to safety, travelling through areas such as Alien Jungle, Gas Giant, Jumba's Lab and Gantu's military ship.

Players control Stitch for the entire game and must use specific controls in particular ways to unlock the protagonist's power and to defeat strange alien enemies. Puzzle-solving is a major feature of the game - players are presented with an objective and must find a creative solution using their game play skills and the surrounding environment to solve it.

A six-limbed alien genetic experiment, Stitch is capable of many more manoeuvres than your average guy. With the ability to climb all surfaces within the 360-degree roaming environment, the little fella can also manipulate gravity, thus being able to totally change the gameplay content of the different worlds that he comes across during his escape.
