In the original Sims game, players are able to create a variety of homes and careers for the population of this virtual world. The interaction between the ‘sims’ you spawn is the main focus of the game. You can tamper with the characters’ behaviour and meddle in their relationships with other people.

Part of the unique fun of The Sims is watching the characters interact in new and surprising ways. House Party takes character interaction a step further to help create the perfect party atmosphere.

Until now, your Sims have been having fun gathering at the piano, relaxing in the hot tub and sinking a few at the pool table. In House Party, there are even more objects to bring everyone together. The neighbours will flock to your house for a spin on the mechanical bull. Or maybe everyone could do with the fun that the bubble maker can provide after a tough day at work.

If you can throw really good parties, keep your eyes open. Special events may occur if your party's a success and everyone is happy. Of course, there are consequences if your guests are bored and wondering why they didn't just stay home.
