Midas Interactive is well known for its budget re-releases of older, but no less popular games. The next batch of classics to arrive from Midas on PC comes in the form of a series of double packs, one of which is Gubble and My Friend Koo.
Assuming a fantasy theme, these two games are very much puzzle-orientated and entail helping the characters from the game progress through a great number of challenging stages.
In Gubble, you will assume the role of a loveable alien who has lost his way and is trying to reach his mothership. But before you can once again boldly go where no person has gone before, you must successfully traverse dozens of levels, collecting nails, screws and tacks along the way. But watch out for the resident bad guys!
My Friend Koo sees the player guiding another loveable character, Koo, through a vast fairytale land, which he has been called upon to protect. As well as solving all of the games puzzles, you must survive the dangers of your journey. The game spans six huge, lush levels with stunning visuals and a plethora of unexpected events, making My Friend Koo a compelling game.
Gubble and My Friend Koo is perfect for its junior target audience and its not frustratingly difficult. A classy double from Midas.
