Summary

TV and video games are two forms of entertainment that don’t usually overlap one another. But the recent spurt of high quality TV shows has proved so popular that video games are now being based upon them. Joining the Quiz catalogue of games is The Weakest Link from Activision on PlayStation.

Licensed from the BBC, The Weakest Link is perhaps best known for the crude comments given by Anne Robinson following the departure of losing member of the game. Well, if you want to face the wrath of Robinson then now’s your chance.

The quiz itself is quite simple - answer questions to gain money. The more questions you answer consecutively, the more the questions are worth. Players can then bank the accumulated cash at any stage, securing their winnings. However, if a question is answered incorrectly, any cash not banked is lost. Performing like this in the game will no doubt get you voted off as the weakest link.

The game features literally thousands of questions, all voiced by Anne Robinson, so the chances of repeated questions are minimal, maintaining the challenge of the game and its longevity. As long as you’re not the weakest link, making it to the next round won’t be a problem. But beware, the competition is, well, competitive to say the least. Good luck and goodbye.
