Summary

It is quite possible that Speed Thief will upset many people with its questionable content. It’s gameplay focuses on the stealing of cars, or joyriding. The aim of the game is to make money by selling stolen vehicles. The cops will be on your tail so you’ll have to drive fast and try to outsmart them. Seriously, don’t try this at home.

Speed Thief tries to capture the thrill of joyriding. Obviously, the danger and repercussions make joyriding a stupid idea in real life, so if you want to do it legally, you’ll have to it virtually. Speed Thief is all about high speed pursuits, night time driving and avoiding traffic and police.

There are ten cities available including Liverpool and Dover and some cities have over 12 miles of road. Speed Devil boasts realistic physics and 12 camera angles. The accurately modelled physics give excellent handling characteristics to ‘your’ car.

Fast cars not only fetch a good black market price but can also prove more than a match for the police. Alternatively, slow but powerful trucks can be a nightmare for roadblocks.

Speed Thief has delicious visuals and suitably good audio. If this sounds appealing, check out this controversial game for yourselves.
