Summary

The X-man known as Wolverine is starring in the third X-men game for the Game Boy Color. This is X-men: Wolverines’s Rage and it is a platform game of the mutant order. In Wolverine’s Rage you are on the run for your life. The evil Lady Deathstrike has uncovered plans that can be used to create a molecular destabiliser. This weapon will be able to melt anything it comes into contact with, including Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton. You must fight against your archenemies Cyber, Sabertooth and finally, Lady Deathstrike if you are going to stand any chance of staying alive. The road to survival is tough, you need to be tougher.

X-men: Wolverine’s rage is a straightforward game to play, in keeping with the plot you only have to reach the end of the level with your health intact. Of course Lady Deathstrike’s minions are not going to make it easy for you, they are carrying machine guns and they’re not afraid to use them. You’ll have to use a fine balance of cunning and aggression to take them all out. Luckily, Wolverine has several special moves that such as his tornado claw and uppercut to deal damage with. Knowing how to execute these special moves will help you complete the levels and deal with the bosses. Wolverine also has a berserk move that makes him ultra-powerful but drains his energy at the same time.

X-men Wolverine’s Rage is a massive Game Boy game, it boasts more than 20 levels. There is a password feature system using icons that will take you back to the last level you started. Wolverine’s rage is a good use of the X-men license and is one of the better platform, action games on the Nintendo handheld.
