Summary

Sega Extreme Sports is one amazing game. It encompasses five different sports and brings them together into one seamless, polished title. This not any normal multi-sports game, it’s a cross between a sport simulation and a racing game. Extreme Sports pushes the boundaries of this genre to near breaking point. Not only is it extremely playable, but is also one beautiful looking game.

In Extreme Sports you get to bungee jump, speed-glide, snowboard, race an all-terrain vehicle and mountain bike. You start off the game snowboarding, heading ridiculously fast down a dangerous slope. You have a limited amount of turbo boost to help you gain extra height for those jumps and tricks. The competition isn’t friendly and will have a swing for you if you get too close. On the other hand, punching someone in the back of the head when they’re least expecting it can be quite amusing. When you reach the bottom of the mountain, you leap off your board and grab a hold of a para-glider and are pulled through the air. After speed-gliding, you land and hop onto an all-terrain vehicle and then it’s a mad race to the finish. . There is no loading in between events, the levels are massive and look like they could go on forever

Extreme Sports has it all, gameplay, graphics, and music. The riders look cool wearing the latest Diesel summer and winter collections. In addition, there are bonus tracks to discover and Internet options. If you like living life to the extreme, this is for you.
